 This organization is run by lay Catholics and enjoys the patronage of the Cardinals of Westminster and of Edinburgh. For over 60 years, it has organized weeks and weekends for families, as well as other events for adult Catholics. A CPW is not a retreat nor is it a holiday. It’s a chance to become, for a short time, part of a small community with a shared interest in deepening its understanding of what it means to be God’s people. It involves talks, discussion and workshops on themes to do with being Catholic in today’s world. I have put a poster and fliers at the back of each of our churches. I encourage couples and families to take the plunge!
